Weekly summary 15/2021

Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 15th week of 2021, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) Coronavirus situation. a) The situation in general. Once more, bad news from the vaccination campaign. Effective April 13th, "CDC and FDA have recommended a pause in the use of Johnson & Johnson’s J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine in the United States" [1] after several incidents with blood clots, called cerebral venous sinus thromboses (CVST), occured in combination with a shortage of blood-clotting cells called platelets.

As of April 16th, the EMA database EudraVigilance reported 6,662 deaths from or with injections with the substances Moderna CX-024414, Pfizer/Biontech Tozinameran, Astrazeneca CHADOX1 NCOV-19, and Janssen (AD26.COV2.S). Also, 299,065 adverse reactions were recorded (as of March 24th, there were 3,964 deaths and 162,610 adverse reactions). Similar figures are being reported by the U.S. CDC's Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) where the Covid injections have an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA): as of April 13th, 3,005 deaths from or with the jabs were officially recorded. This means that the Covid vaccinations are suspected to have caused more deaths within the past four months than all other vaccinations together in the past 13 years (August 2007 until November 2020). And in the UK, the government’s reporting system recorded 847 deaths and 626,087 adverse reactions since vaccination with Pfizer and Astrazeneca jabs started four months ago. Summing up the data from these official sources, the total death toll from or with the Covid jabs is not at 10,514 (U.S. + EU + UK). These figures are alarming and raise the question: How safe are these experimental vaccinations?

On the other hand, with now 52 studies including 27 Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) reporting positive effects of Ivermectin, there is sufficient research proving the efficacy of Covid-19 prophylaxis and treatment protocols like I-MASK+ and MATH+ available. The SARS-CoV-2 virus is similarily managable like any other easily transmissible virus. For what plausible reason is treatment and prophylaxis with Ivermectin still suppressed? #FollowtheScience.

b) Impact on the doll business. The new wave of Corona restrictions - new and tighter lockdowns, border closures, severely reduced air freight capacities - is hitting the doll business differently in the various ares around the world. Almost unaffected are regions with no or only few Corona restrictions like Texas and Florida (about 1-2 weeks international transit). On the other hand, shipments to EU destinations with import fees clearance can take significantly longer (several weeks international transit).

2) New arrivals.

This week, four new heads were introduced:

• Irontech S3 head - silicone
• JY Doll ›Bid‹ head - silicone
• Zelex A112 head - TPE
• Zelex A118 head - TPE

Also, four new body styles were released:

• New arrivals: Irontech ITSRS-161/B body style - silicone / ~161 cm / ~30 kg
• New arrivals: Piper Silicone Action Figure Series SAF-100/F aka ›Jessica‹ by Piper Doll - silicone / ~100 cm / ~12 kg
• New arrivals: SE Doll SE-158/D body style - TPE / ~158 cm / ~34 kg
• New arrivals: Zelex ZE-160 - TPE / ~160 cm / ~35 kg

One new head variants of existing heads was introduced:

• Piper Doll ›Jessica‹ head, miniature version for S.A.F. series - silicone

One new variant of existing body styles was introduced:

• Piper Doll SAF-100/F aka ›Jessica‹, miniature version for S.A.F. series - silicone
