*** Newsflash *** Coronavirus Pandemic Disruptions

Hi,

on January 7th, a container arrived at the gateway in Germany. Two dolls arrived, they were both shipped in December (December 23rd, shipment to Belgium; December 23rd, shipment to Finland).

also on January 7th, a container arrived at the gateway in Poland. One of our dolls arrived in it, also departed from China in December (December 23rd, shipment to Germany).

For these three dolls, turnaround times were very fast (faster than before the pandemic).

The speed of these three shipments is kind of a miracle.

On the other hand, there are still a couple of shipments in transit which departed weeks earlier (end of November until beginning of December).

For these shipments, turnaround times are very poor (slower than before the pandemic)

Hi,

for shipments to EU destinations with the UPS special line we are currently calculating 60+ days for international transit, customs clearance and freight forwarding.

For US destinations, freight costs are now higher than shipping to EU destinations with import fees clearance, but transit times are around two weeks.

For all destinations applicable is the Chinese New Year holidays schedule 2021. In a nutshell, all Chinese doll makers are closed for a couple of weeks in February 2021. Resuming of production is scheduled for end of February/beginning of March 2021.
